Care Ambulance was established in 1992 as an Advanced Life Support provider in Montgomery Alabama. In 1995 Care established operations in Dothan, Alabama serving the Houston County area. In 1996 Care Ambulance was selected to be the primary provider of EMS for those areas not covered by volunteer services. Currently, we provide emergency ambulance services to the communities in Phenix City, Tuskegee, Montgomery, Dothan, Troy, Tallassee, Talladega, Ozark and Selma Alabama and in Georgia the cities of Columbus, Atlanta, Lamar County and Pike County. 

Care Ambulance joined the LifeStar Response Ambulance organization. This association has enabled Care Ambulance to access enterprise services and support insuring that our administrative and operating practices conform to the best practices of the medical transportation industry. Care Ambulance and each division of Care Ambulance is locally managed so that resources are focused on providing patients and clients with care that is clinically effective, compassionate and cost sensitive. LifeStar Response provides ambulance and medical transportation services to clients in New York, New Jersey and Maryland and Washington D.C... Our portfolio of services includes municipal emergency response, high acuity interventional transfers, inter-facility transfers and discharge transfers.

Ongoing training programs are just one way that we strive to remain on the cutting edge of emergency medical services. 

All of Basic Life Support providers hold a minimum of Alabama Emergency Medical Technician- Basic certification. Our Advanced Life Support providers include Nationally Registered and Alabama certified Paramedics.

Care Ambulance is a licensed to provide ambulance services in Alabama and Georgia. LifeStar Response is a licensed and certified provider in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia and Washington D.C.
